Welcome to Patna University Placement Cell
Patna University has a Counselling, Training & Placement Cell constituted vide memo No. Acad/4324 dated 06/09/2018. Corporate bodies have shown their great interest and have been coming regularly for campus selection in different departments of the University and the Colleges. Recently, Piramal Group has visited the Patna University Campus for the recruitment of P.G. students for Gandhi Fellowship followed by placement. Considering the Covid Pandemic the Piramal Group has rescheduled its Gandhi Fellowship programme to next year i.e. June 2021 for PU for the next visit.
Azim Premji Foundation visited PU campus for placement purpose for the job of Associates. 133 Post -graduate students from different departments participated in the written test and 39 students qualified for interview. The final result of interview is expected to be announced by the 2nd week of September 2020. It is expected that Azim Premji Foundation shall again visit PU campus by the end of December 2020.
The Placement cell has invited about 1000 oraganisations to visit Patna University campus for Placement.
Till date ITC group, Futures group, Swatantra Micro Finance, Insurance Sector, Wipro etc. visited Patna University Campus and recruited our students.
We believe learning by doing. Various programmes were conducted by the Placement Cell of PU through its counterpart Viz. Medha Learning Foundation and few of them are Viz.;

- Internships with Indian Red Cross Society, Goonj, GreenPeace, Dainik Bhaskar, 98.3 FM Radio Mirchi, Coca-Cola, IRCTC, I-PAC, Smart City Patna, Nidan, Kaushalya Foundation, Bihar Police etc.
Placement Cell of Patna University along with Medha Learning Foundation organising a state level eYouthscape start-up event competition to promote entrepreneurship among the students of Bihar aiming to achieve the target that youths of India should not only be a job seekers but also they should be Job Creators by channelising their skills into innovation and creativity.
The Placement cell of Patna University believes in hard work and engaged in creating job opportunities for the students in the globally competitive corporate world under the able leadership of its convenor, Dr. Ashim Lal Chakraborty along with its dedicated and committed members.
