What is eYouthscape – Start-up Bihar?

eYouthscape – Start-up Bihar is a state-level, a month-long competition to support the budding entrepreneurs of Bihar. The participation is free, and only the current students of colleges, universities, Polytechnics, and ITIs of Bihar are eligible to apply. 

·     Applications for the 1st round begin 1st September 2020
·     Applications for the 1st round close: 13th September 2020

What will the process of the event be? 

The competition will have three rounds:

Round 1 (Share your Idea) – The students will share their contact details and a brief of their business ideas. 
  
Round 2 (Build your Business Plan) – The students will first go through an online workshop to build their business idea to generate and submit their business plan. 
  
Round 3 (Crack your Business Pitch) –The students will first undergo a workshop to prepare their business pitches. They will then pitch their business plans to a jury and face their questions. They will finally be connected to a mentor who will help sharpen their business pitches and clear their queries. 
  
What will the winners get? 

1) The top three participants will be given seed funding of three lakh, two lakh, one lakh, respectively, and one Tablet each to work on their ideas.
2) The other seven contestants in top 10 will receive android smartphones from Medha 
3) Some ideas will also get incubation assistance from the competition's incubation partner, AIC – BVF (Atal Incubation Centre – Bihar Vidyapeeth Foundation). 

The winners will be announced in an online program on the competition's official event page in the 2nd week of October.
