About Aspire Leaders Program:

The Aspire Leaders Program Aspire Leaders Program, initiated by Harvard Business School Professors Dr tarun khanna and Dr Karim Lakhani in 2017, aims to empower undergraduates from low-income backgrounds. The vision of the program is to unlock the full potential of young minds and foster thriving communities. The program is offered at no cost to students from low income backgrounds across the globe.

Aspire Leaders Program Highlights:

1. 14-week online program, self-paced with a maximum of 5 hours of effort per week. Modules focussing on personal and professional development, critical thinking and problem solving to create future leaders and entrepreneurs
2. Global exposure for students as the program attracts peers from 190 countries
3. Opportunity to receive seed funding of INR 80,000 on submission of a project plan focussed on societal impact. Outstanding projects receive a grant of INR 8,00,000.
4. Access to career development resources from Harvard Business School
5. Completely free of cost for all selected students. Certificates are provided by the Aspire Leaders Institute headquartered in Boston, USA - helping the career prospects of participants

Eligibility:

• Student should be in the age range of 18-29 • First-generation college students with an annual household income below Rs. 8 lakhs
• Intermediate level of proficiency in English
• Students can be either in college or completed their graduate degree or working after graduation, as long as they're not pursuing a Master's degree

ALP runs three cycles in a year and currently, we are in the midst of the registration process of Cycle 3 and the deadline is July 3rd. 2024. The program will commence in August 2024.

The Program is completely free of cost with no registration fee and no documentation/statement of purpose is required.
